We appraise virtually everything in your home, garage, shed, barn, and/or pasture. We believe that we have the best credentials of any personal property appraiser of which we are aware.
We operate on the basis that there are four generally recognized legs that support a credible appraisal:
Personal credibility: each appraiser must be able to establish his own personal credibility.
Proper appraisal standards, USPAP, Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice, which is authorized by Congress as the source of appraisal standards and appraiser qualifications.
Proper connoisseurship of the items being appraised; each appraiser must be able to establish and defend his/her own personal knowledge and connoisseurship of the item(s) being appraised as well as his/her value conclusions.
Indisputable and recognizable logic; logic is the glue that holds a credible appraisal report together and makes it understandable and easy to follow. Without proper appraisal logic, an appraisal report cannot possibly be considered to be credible.
We operate on the premise that an appraisal report that is not supported by these four elements can not considered to be credible.
